A structured first step in the recovery journey for individuals affected by drug, alcohol and behavioural addictions, built around personalised one-on-one counselling and supported by group sessions, recovery coaching, life skills and therapeutic activities in well-appointed accommodation, with treatment covered by medical aid.
A Place of Healing
Set on a tranquil farm outside Greytown in the KZN Midlands, Agape House offers a calm and supportive residential setting for those beginning their recovery journey. Away from the pressures of everyday life, clients are given the structure, counselling and personalised support needed to focus on healing.

Accommodation
7 twin bedrooms, each with a private bathroom. Clean, comfortable, and dignified.

Nature & Outdoors
Set on a working farm surrounded by rolling hills. Daily nature walks are part of the program.

Recreation & Fitness
Swimming pool, fully equipped gym, and daily sporting activities. Physical health is part of recovery.

Dining
Three dietitian-approved meals daily plus snacks, prepared by experienced chefs.

Common Questions
Does medical aid cover treatment?
Yes, most major medical aids cover the first month of treatment at Agape House.
Do you provide detox?
We arrange off-site medical detox where needed before admission to Agape House.
Is it male or female?
Both. We accommodate men and women in separate quarters.
What happens after the first month?
You can extend for a second month (R32,000) or transition to our Harmony Halfway House from R11,000/month for 3-12 months.
Can you arrange transport?
Yes, we arrange transport throughout KwaZulu-Natal (KZN).
What should I pack?
Comfortable clothing, toiletries, your own towels, and any prescribed medication. We provide bedding and meals.
