Assessment & Intervention

Face-to-face professional addiction assessment, intervention planning, and family consultation. For families who need guidance on how to help a loved one or individuals exploring treatment options.

Not sure what the right next step is? A professional assessment with one of our counsellors gives you clarity without obligation.

We look at the full picture: the substances or behaviours involved, the severity and duration of dependency, the person's physical and mental health, their family situation, and what level of care is genuinely appropriate for where they are right now. From that, we build an honest, practical recommendation - which might be residential treatment at Agape House, outpatient counselling, a structured halfway house programme, or a referral to a specialist. There is no judgment and no pressure.

The assessment is also available for families seeking guidance on how to approach a loved one who is not yet willing to accept help - we will walk you through your options and, where appropriate, facilitate the conversation.
